well...I is back from the 3 day boat ride, had some fun but very glad to be back.

the boat I was on was the Carnival Elation: [link] , I stayed on deck 7(Empress) in room 225, and my newly wed brother and his wife stayed on deck 6(upper) in room 101 (if you wanna see them click on the deck plans after going to the link) i'm told its small as far as cruise ships go

I mainly just explored the ship, observed how it was run, and ate. exploring the ship was a blast, running around on the different decks, finding areas that most people didnt go to, etc. I watched them release and secure the ship to the dock. its pretty much held to the dock by 16 very thick ropes, 8 at the front and 8 at the back of the boat.

the only stop outside of san diego was in Ensenada, Mexico. there I went horseback riding on a beach. the horses were hard to get going but once we got them to gallop for a bit it was really fun. then we saw the second largest "natural blowhole" in the world, its a rock formation that blows ocean water up into the air every so often, the largest one is in hawii, and the 3rd largest is in australia. other than those 2 things I went and bartered a bit and got a couple things.

it was really fun, but I don't think I could handle having to lose communication with my foxy roxy again, so the only way I would ever go on a cruise again is if she came along.

oh, and I couldnt really tell which type it was but there was a royal caribbean ship next to ours when we left it, it was probably 5-6 decks taller and a bunch wider cuz it has to be.
